After a 300-day flight and covering a distance of 680-million km after its launch on November 5, 2013, the Rs 450-crore Isros Mars Orbiter Mission entered the Martian orbit at 7.18am.
The mission begian at 4:17 am and conclude by 8:15 am in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Indian Space Telemetry and Tracking Command Network (Istrac), Peenya.
7: 48 am: All engines are working fine, says ISRO
7: 45 am: ISRO fires all engines. Gives command to Mangalyan to enter Mars orbit.
